Welcome to the Pro-LIMS (the Lab Information Management System for PROTEOMICS). The system was developed to facilitate Mass Spectrometry data manegement/analysis/validation for the proteomics efforts at the University of Kansas. It is a joint project of the Bioinformatics Core Facility (BCF) and the Analytical Proteomics Laboratory (APL) and is further supported by the Information and Telecommuncation Technology Center at KU (ITTC). Pro-LIMS consists of a web-browser based interface, a relational database as the backend, and scripts to manage the data, backup and archive files to ITTC file server. The web-browser based interface allows end users to submit requests and access results via the web-browser based interface. It also accepts inputs from MS specialist. The system is password-protected. Please login if you know your ID/password. Please contact us if you want to create an account in the system or if you forgot your ID/password. Currently the system is available to KU researchers and their collaborators. General public may access publicly available data and information in the public lobby. You may find supplimentary materials of the publications from researchers associated with BCF and APL. A list of proteomics links and tutorials is also available in the public lobby. A short tutorial of the system is available here. |
